I’ve been to Hawaii many times, different islands. You don’t ever have to worry about water temp there…it’s paradise!

Somewhere around 75 degrees, give or take a degree or two.

I’d have to reserch the actual temperatures, but I know for sure that the water is swimmable year round.

Ocean temp maps will show it to be around mid to low 70s. Not quite as warm as it would be in lower Mexico the same time of year but definitely warmer than the east coast, gulf coast, and all but the most southern portion of the Florida keys. The waters off California are of course frigid.

I always went to Hawaii during the summer, and enjoyed the water very much! However, I went to Honolulu in Feb 07 for 10 days and the water was very cold! There were alot of people in the water though, so I guess they were able to tolerate it..But i couldn’t. The weather was very warm, so my vacation wasn’t ruined. Feb- April is a busy season in Hawaii, since all the tourists are escaping the cold weather, but in my opinion, the best time to visit Hawaii is June- October
