Waikiki hotels that can acommodate wedding and receptions?

My best friend got married at the Sheraton Waikiki. I do not want to copy her. My sister got married at the Prince Kuhio. I just emailed the Halekulani and I am waiting to hear back from them. Does anyone have a good idea what other hotel I should consider? I am on Oahu for two more days and I want to pick a place for December 2009.

There is a hotel where the old Kaiser Hospital used to be. Anyone know the name of that Hotel?

Hi. Do you live in Hawaii? Have you considered any of the other islands? I can’t help you with Oahu, but, if it was me, I would definitely go to Maui!! I have been to both Maui and the Big Island. Oahu is crowded.
There are many places on Maui to get married. Kaanapali would be a nice choice.
I have no idea what you budget is….but if you have money….this is a GREAT PLACE:
