go to salon, bobby, & guy– it’s located in the Ward Warehouse which is only a mile or two away from your stay. professional, friendly staff. great job for the $$$!

the pacific beach hotel was the hotel that we stayed at while we were over there and there was a hair salon there by the pool and it seemed to stay busy all the time. so you may want to just check it out and see what they could offer you.
