Dublin: Now a Centre for Non-Invasive Cosmetic Surgery
Dublin may not spring to mind when you think of cosmetic surgery, but owing to the resurgence of the Irish economy in the past decade, there are now a large number of cosmetic surgery clinics in and around the city. In fact, these concentrate mainly on non-invasive surgery, such as laser and bright light treatments and teeth whitening, rather than heavy cosmetic surgery of the type used to make Hollywood starts look young.
Laser surgical procedure is one particular set of techniques to remove various forms of skin blemishes and also for that treatment of unwanted hairs. For less severe difficulties, intense light is used, and naturally, surgery treatment is also applied for other deeper troubles. At present, laserlight treatments are available in many cosmetic surgery clinics in Dublin.
Intense light is also used to remove tiny veins below the skin, which are called thread veins or spider veins. Several treatments may be needed. Like laser treatment, this is not too expensive, nor is it very painful.
One of the treatments that is now very popular is teeth whitening in Dublin and many other cities. Many people are so embarrassed by their teeth that they smile as little as possible. What a shame! We all deserve a smile, and anyway we look at the lips more than the teeth. Even so, people who smoke, or suffer from darkened teeth for other reasons would like whiter teeth, and now they can get teeth whitening in Dublin at low cost and in a simple treatment.
There are no side effects to this treatment which uses a combination of hydrogen peroxide which gets right into the teeth, and a bright light. You need to protect your eyes and face from the bright light, but then you have a treatment taking 10 minutes or so. You need three treatments to get the dazzling smile that you want.
